Jamaican Jerk Sauce and Marinade

Mago Jamaican jerk sauce. This very addicting (semi-traditional) Jamaican jerk sauce has a Spicy Magic twist, and it goes well with for meat, poultry, and seafood. Channel your island vibes and enjoy this easy and delicious marinade or sauce. Cool Runnings!


¼ cup canola or peanut oil
2 tbsp. fresh thyme
1 bunch scallions, chopped
1-inch-thick piece fresh ginger, chopped
4-6 garlic cloves, peeled
1 habanero pepper
6 allspice berries, crushed
1 tbsp. black peppercorns
1 tbsp. nutmeg, ground
2 cinnamon sticks, broken
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. ketchup
¼ cup brown sugar
Lime juice from 2 limes

1 tbsp Mago Green Sauce, or 2 tbsp Mago Red Sauce



Puree the ingredients listed above in a food processor or blender until smooth. Use as a dip, spread, or marinade.
